I just read the article in TIMES Magazine about the generation of the millennials (do have to mention it was on my iPad, digital era here). My generation. My sisters generation. And the generations after me. From the 1980s-2000s. We … Continue reading
Since giving up facebook for Lent, well almost completely (I’m allowed to check it on Sundays, once a week). I have found a new addiction! And have not become reliant on facebook, which actually makes me happy because I’m not addicted to everyone’s pictures, and status updates, and what new relationship they are in, or checking in on everyone, aka facebook stalking. So I’m feeling better about it already and haven’t had withdrawals.
So… due to the lack of facebook, I have finally found and gotten on the bandwagon of twitter 🙂 I know, I know, I’m a little bit behind on the whole thing, but hey, better late then never I say. I started it over my spring break, and have become addicted to checking up on t he celebrities that I follow, which is way cool! Its like hearing daily updates on how their life is going. It also doesn’t help that I can update my status about 5 times a day and not care because they are all listed there anyways and its just plan and clear, how I’m feeling, what I’m doing, whats going on in my mind at the time. I see it as a fun daily trip down memory lane if ever needed.
I’m following up to 102 people right now and 23 people are following me in counting… 🙂 I love Kevin Hart thats my boy!! Haha way funny, pretty sure he made half of my spring break, and I cant stop watching his movie Seriously Funny. I’ve almost got all the lines covered.
Anywhos, Twitter is my new addiction and keeping me pretty much out of trouble and excited and my mind on other things now a days.
