5 things that make me happy

Back to where it all began…

What are the 5 things that make you most happy right now?

1. My bed, I love that I can call it my own, I’ve spent my own money on it and I love my comforter and pillows all beside me

2. My parents, they are always the first people I call with news, or my day.

3. Christmas time!! I just love all the decorations and trees and lights. I can’t wait for my christmas eve tradition of going around and seeing the lights around town. Always makes me the happiest to see people in the christmas spirit! 🙂

4. My boyfriend, he can always make me laugh and he is a strong, driven, make-things-happen-outta-thin-area kinda guy.

5. My work. I love what I do and I do what I love. What more can I ask for?

Relationship with my parents

Back to where it all began…

Describe your relationship with your parents

My relationship with my parents, I believe is probably very much stronger than most. My mother is like one of my best friends, who I talk to at least once a day if not more and I call home probably 6/7 days of the week. I know which parent to talk to about certain things, and I know who I can always count on to cheer me up(both of them in their own way).

My Dad is always there for my history lesson, my security system, my sports updates, and electronics update. We like to gang up on my mom when we can 🙂 (Love you mom!) We are a tag team me and my dad, we love a lot of the same things, we act the same and laugh at the same things, he makes the same faces as I do I swear and we just love to laugh with each other. I can go into deep discussions with him about a lot of things.  I can always count on him. I love him and wouldn’t want anyone else as my dad.

My mom is my rock, my shoulder to lean on and my best friend who knows pretty much all my secrets and knows me in and out. She is always looking out for me, its a mother thing and she has always got my back. She knows I’m a smart ass and yet she still sets me up to deliver a good comeback 🙂 She loves me and I love her in and out.

I love my parents. I tell them all the time, with them behind me I can never fail. They have always had my back and will drop everything to stand beside me (I know from first hand experience, hospital visit freshman year of college). My parents are my everything and I love them.

Parental Weekend!

The parentals came this weekend and boy was I very grateful for them. I love them soo much. How caring and supportive, and helpful they are. As my journey through my new life of being on my own and growing up they have helped out a lot during this transition. I can say they stocked me up!

This only explains half of what they did for me. But basically I am stocked up on lotions for a long time (Thanks mom and our love for Bath and Body Works )

As well as the kitchen getting stocked up with new plates, cups, bowls, cooking utensils (can’t wait to use every single one!!) tubberware, pots and pats and more.

I haven’t taken a picture of the new set up to my living room but lets just say its pretty awesome. Slowly but surely my apartment is being home and mine. Soon I’ll be starting some DIY crafts to get this feeling like a home.

Thank you so much for my parents God. Without them I wouldn’t know what to do. Shoot they keep me safe and I will never fail with them by my side. ❤
