I’ve been using and researching a lot of different ways to save and get free gift cards or anything else that I don’t want to have to shelved my own money out for. This christmas season, I think I did a pretty decent job on making homemade gifts for friends and family and using things that I saw on pinterest as a big inspiration. I’ve also been doing this Bing Rewards thing.
Bing Rewards, basically rewards you points for doing searches. You can set goals for yourself so when you reach a certain amount of points you can receive your gift. I’ve been on gold status for the past month or so and I love it! The points just keep rolling in. I was able to gift stocking stuffers for my family and small gifts all for free with my gift cards!
It does take some dedication however to do it. You have to remind yourself each day to do your bing searches.Once you reach gold status you get 30 searches a day and at least once a month they do a special where you can double your searches for that day. So the points add up quickly. I get about $10 worth of gift cards each month so it helps out a lot, I’m coming to realize. All the things on my own list that I want, I can just save up for myself. There really is no rush for giving gifts to yourself. But come birthdays and next years holidays I should have a good amount of gift cards saved up/ or used! 🙂 If you would like to get in on the rewards and gift cards go here. Its my link that I can refer friends and then once you set up your own refer friends of your own and receive points for every friend that signs up! Help yourself by helping others this holiday season!
I think this was my first Christmas when I was more happy to give the gifts I was giving than receiving. I was so excited to give the gifts I gave to my family and friends because they were home … Continue reading
I combined two projects this weekend that I had seen on Pinterest and at one of my awesome friends house who are photographers themselves. I’ve been wanting to do it for awhile and finally got around to it. You guessed it crayons on a canvas!
Started with a plain canvas
Added a bit of style to it, the words “faith”
Added my crayons(GET crayola crayons, everything else sucks haha)
Put a hair dryer to it and behold!!!
Its now hanging in my hallway for me to pass by it everyday reminding myself to have faith everyday
Will be starting my homemade holiday gifts for family and friends so I won’t be able to show them until after they receiver their gifts (I hope they all turn out amazing!!) But ill be starting up something else on my blog, a little get to know me better in December. Stay tuned!!
