Relationship with my parents

Back to where it all began…

Describe your relationship with your parents

My relationship with my parents, I believe is probably very much stronger than most. My mother is like one of my best friends, who I talk to at least once a day if not more and I call home probably 6/7 days of the week. I know which parent to talk to about certain things, and I know who I can always count on to cheer me up(both of them in their own way).

My Dad is always there for my history lesson, my security system, my sports updates, and electronics update. We like to gang up on my mom when we can 🙂 (Love you mom!) We are a tag team me and my dad, we love a lot of the same things, we act the same and laugh at the same things, he makes the same faces as I do I swear and we just love to laugh with each other. I can go into deep discussions with him about a lot of things.  I can always count on him. I love him and wouldn’t want anyone else as my dad.

My mom is my rock, my shoulder to lean on and my best friend who knows pretty much all my secrets and knows me in and out. She is always looking out for me, its a mother thing and she has always got my back. She knows I’m a smart ass and yet she still sets me up to deliver a good comeback 🙂 She loves me and I love her in and out.

I love my parents. I tell them all the time, with them behind me I can never fail. They have always had my back and will drop everything to stand beside me (I know from first hand experience, hospital visit freshman year of college). My parents are my everything and I love them.

    • I think you just need to find common ground. My mom and I butt heads sometimes, but its sometimes because we don’t understand each other. Or we are just over looking what one another is saying. The differences are what make a relationship. I think if you each learn something different about each other, who knows you might find out that its something you both like 🙂
