This lady Henrietta Lacks (HeLa for short) basically has cells that are still alive. And have been tested on for a very long time, even went into space! Legit huh??
Henrietta Lacks was a black tobacco farmer from southern Virginia and died at the age of 30 from cervical cancer. a doctor took a piece of her tumor to get looked at and… Her cells never died.
